I need a much more detailed description of what you've done. Whether it is reproducible and how exactly? Whether you've changed the output driver _during playback_ without stopping current playback first? Or what else you may have done to end up with a zero length ALSA buffer.
I'm also interested in learning more about what you mean with "no audio" to start with. Pulse Audio output here works in Audacious.
Package: audacious-2.4.0-3.fc14.1 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. changed output to alsa without playback 2.play some mp3 file 3.crash again Can you please try with files other than mp3? The mp3 plugin isn't part of Fedora. It may be necessary to run "rpm -qfi /usr/lib/audacious/Input/madplug.so" and see where you got that plugin from. audacious-2.4.3-1.fc14,audacious-plugins-2.4.3-1.fc14.pl1,xmp-3.3.0-2.fc14.1 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/audacious-2.4.3-1.fc14,audacious-plugins-2.4.3-1.fc14.pl1,xmp-3.3.0-2.fc14.1 audacious-2.4.3-1.fc14, audacious-plugins-2.4.3-1.fc14.pl1, xmp-3.3.0-2.fc14.1 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository.
