In my case I'm seeing it when I try to put a signed data inside of an enveloped data, which is used in implementing a "should" part of the PKINIT spec that's necessary for interacting with versions of Windows before Server 2008. (In reply to comment #1) The patches where included in nss-softokn-3.12.9-7.fc15 which was pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository. The reported problems still persist, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=499444#c5 These patches were made in anticipation of a fix from upstream. The proper fix was released upstream with nss 3.12.10. By updating to 3.12.10 we get the fix. That may me preferrable than back-porting patches to 3.12.9. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2011-1584.html |
