Description of problem: OpenJDK is older in rawhide than it is F14, which breaks the upgrade path if you upgrade to rawhide and then attempt to install the -devel package: Error: Package: 1:java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel-1.6.0.0-44.1.9.1.fc14.i686 (rawhide) Requires: java-1.6.0-openjdk = 1:1.6.0.0-44.1.9.1.fc14 Installed: 1:java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0-49.1.9.3.fc14.i686 (@updates/14) java-1.6.0-openjdk = 1:1.6.0.0-49.1.9.3.fc14 Available: 1:java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0-44.1.9.1.fc14.i686 (rawhide) java-1.6.0-openjdk = 1:1.6.0.0-44.1.9.1.fc14 See FESCo's decision to disable build inheritance from F14 to F15 [1] that means you have to explicitly build new versions for F14 *and* rawhide.
