Description Horst H. von Brand 2011-01-13 18:28:37 UTC
Description of problem:
Just installed contacts, and the imported a file created by concatenating 76 vCard 2.1 contacts gotten out of my (old) cellphone. It imported OK, but shows up empty. Nothing shown, no search works,

If I run it again and try to import one of the contacts it already has (I assume), I get:

(contacts:7945): libebook-CRITICAL **: e_contact_new_from_vcard: assertion `vcard != NULL' failed

Trying to add a contact by hand just leads to an error message:

Couldn't add contact: Timeout reached

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 2 Peter Robinson 2012-10-17 12:13:29 UTC
This package is dead upstream. I suggest you use gnome-contacts which provides the same functionality and is being actively developed
