Description Harald Reindl 2011-01-15 18:49:57 UTC
Hi

After "yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update" and subversion 1.6.15-1.fc13.x86_64 i am missing most of my subfolders in kdesvn as aslo in "ZendStudio 8.0 (Eclipse)" from the point httpd is restarted

Downgrade to
1.6.13-1.fc13.x86_64 let them appear as before

Screenshot with old version

Before update and after downgrade it looks like this

Comment 3 Harald Reindl 2011-03-17 14:32:33 UTC
The same with subversion-1.6.16-1.fc14.x86_64.rpm
After downgrade to 1.6.13 all is working fine
1.6.16 was submitted even to F13-stable-repo today

sorry, but this is a showstopper!
well it is a security update, but if the software does not
work anymore shut down the machine has the same effect

nobody said anything since two months to this brugreport :-(

Comment 4 Mat Booth 2011-03-28 19:43:47 UTC
Do you see the same thing with the Fedora packaged eclipse?

yum install eclipse-subclipse etc ...

Comment 5 Harald Reindl 2011-03-28 19:58:45 UTC
as said i see the same with "kdesvn" where eclipse/java is not ibvolved and it must be have something to do with mod_davn_svn in httpd because before restarting httpd all is normal

Comment 6 Joe Orton 2011-03-29 12:40:58 UTC
Please supply a precise reproduction recipe.

Comment 7 Harald Reindl 2011-03-29 13:24:40 UTC
How can i do this?

This is a three years old subversion repo with some subfolders
created with "svn mkdir" and after the update most folders
disappears :-(

Comment 8 Joe Orton 2011-03-29 16:03:28 UTC
You've posted a vague description of a problem and provided some screenshots of software which is *not distributed in Fedora*.

I suggest working out how to reproduce whatever problem it is you're seeing with the command-line "svn" tool in a fresh repository with your mod_dav_svn configuration, and post the results along with the config details.

Lastly I suggest you read ESR's document on asking "smart questions" when looking for help with technical issues:

http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Comment 9 Harald Reindl 2011-06-16 02:53:24 UTC
"kdesvn" IS distributed in fedora
the sameh appens with mod_dav_svn-1.6.17-1.fc14.x86_64.rpm

even after "svnadmin dump /path/ > svn.dump", upgrade, delete the whole folder and import the dump with the latest version

/-folders are missing but if you know the exact location it seems the are working normally, more can i not say

Comment 10 Joe Orton 2012-02-29 13:59:38 UTC
No repro recipe provided. If you have a problem with kdesvn file a bug with a repro recipe against whatever package provieds that.
