error message when starting jackd:

21:54:09.288 D-Bus: Dienst ist nicht verfügbar (org.jackaudio.service aka jackdbus).

I believe this bug is fixed in 1.96 version of jack-audio-connection-kit

This is a major update, and we can't update Fedora 13's jack to jack2 due to the new update policies. Please either upgrade to Fedora 14, or ask PlanetCCRMA to update their jack2.
