Description Otso Helenius 2011-01-17 13:01:53 UTC
Description of problem:
The KDE spin of F14 does not come with proper PowerDevil profile settings. By default the power management settings are:

AC Adaptor plugged in: Performance
When on battery power: Powersave
When battery is at low level: <empty>
When battery is at warning level: <empty>

Only Powersave, Presentation and Performance profiles exist by default. Thus, when reaching low level on battery, PowerDevil reports

The Profile "" has been selected but does not exist.
Please check your PowerDevil configuration.

By default Critical and Low profiles should exist in the Power Management Settings and they should also be automatically assigned for the proper battery levels.

icky alright, I'll see about poking upstream about it (we don't currently customize this, so it's upstream default behavior too)

Comment 2 Otso Helenius 2011-06-02 11:47:24 UTC
Seems this is no longer a problem in F15 so I'm closing it.
