Comment 2 Dave Anderson 2011-01-19 14:08:44 UTC
It's highly unlikely that the crash utility will ever be updated again
in the RHEL4 stream.

The "WARNING: irq: -u option ignored: "no_irq_chip" or "no_irq_type" symbols
do not exist" is doing the right thing -- in RHEL4, neither of those two
symbols exist in the ppc64 tree -- they only exist in the i386, x86_64,
and ia64 kernels. Without one of those symbols, the -u option cannot be
accomplished. So that's not a bug at all.

With respect to:

 - warn: crash commands have some warnings.
search: invalid kernel virtual address: 40 type: "mm_struct pgd"
  - fail: crash commands have some failures

I can't find any log file in https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/47286 that shows the crash test output, so I don't how you generated those
warnings or failures.
