Description Robert Rati 2011-01-19 14:26:55 UTC
Description of problem:
The name of the remote configuration client installed on all MRG Grid nodes has changed from QMF_CONFIGD to CONFIGD. The 99configd.config provided as part of the condor-wallaby-client package has been updated to reflect the name change. Any configuration changes a user has made affecting the remote configuration feature, aside from the 99configd.config, should be updated to reflect the new subsystem name.

Comment 1 Robert Rati 2011-01-19 16:31:37 UTC
The subsystem name change will not take affect until there is a new configuration for a node. To force the change to take affect without a configuration change, run the following commands as root:

condor_configd -r
condor_reconfig

This can be run while condor is running and will result in an updated configuration.
