Description Orion Poplawski 2011-01-20 16:04:31 UTC
Description of problem:

Unless tar calls info for some reason, there is no need for Requires: info in the spec

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tar-1.22-19.fc13

Comment 1 Ondrej Vasik 2011-01-20 17:13:17 UTC
This Requires: is there only because of the primary documentation is maintained in info. You are right, no need for hard dependency as man page covers all the options. Are you ok with Rawhide only fix? I think it is not worth of update in f13/f14 ...

Comment 2 Orion Poplawski 2011-01-20 17:22:00 UTC
Yeah, that's fine, especially as it really doesn't affect the resulting package requires like I was hoping.

Comment 3 Ondrej Vasik 2011-01-20 18:31:09 UTC
Ok, I dropped the dependency and at the moment new rawhide tar package is building in koji - tar-1.25-5.fc15, closing RAWHIDE.
