It looks like this was introduced in a refactoring commit 1f1a9c8f653cd8cc3aa77f966051de6095bdd390. Here's a tiny patch that I think fixes the issue: http://ricky.fedorapeople.org/yum/0001-Remove-undefined-variable.patch.
