Description e 2002-06-20 11:23:49 UTC
Description of Problem:
In Anaconda GUI install network configuration screen a
warning message displayed about no gateway setting if
no NIC's configured.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Milan beta2

How Reproducible:
100 %

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Got to network configuration screen
2. Turn of activate on boot for all NIC's (test machine had 2)
3. Select next
4. Anaconda brings up warning about having not specified the gateway field.
Given that there are no NIC's configured this is silly.

Will look into.

Comment 2 Michael Fulbright 2002-07-31 20:07:20 UTC
Should be better now.

Comment 3 Jay Turner 2002-09-04 12:22:56 UTC
With the re0903.2 tree, if I deselect 'activate on boot' for all NICs, then I do
get nag screens about hostname, gateway and DNS servers not being populated, but
I don't this is blocker bug. Deferring to next release.

Comment 4 Jeremy Katz 2003-08-13 18:19:11 UTC
This is fixed in our current code.
