Fixed in master (commit 6cd53e7). Disregard the last comment - I added it to the wrong issue. Fixed for real in master (commit 0715ed6) - username is no longer editable for existing users. Verified on build 1090 (Version: 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT Build Number: f19c23e) Username is not editable for the users. Changed password for a user and logged in with the user credentials. No error is observed. Marking as verified. Bookkeeping - closing bug - fixed in recent release. Bookkeeping - closing bug - fixed in recent release. I created a user. I then went to the user UI again to edit the user. Type a new username. Then go and type a new password (and don't forget to enter the new password in the "verify" field). Click save. I get this error: "java.lang.RuntimeException:javax.ejb.EJBException:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: You cannot set a password for an LDAP user. -> java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:You cannot set a password for an LDAP user." NOTE: this user is not an LDAP user, I haven't touched the LDAP stuff (it isn't enabled or configured). The UI does tell me this is not an LDAP user ("No" is next to the "LDAP login?" static text field).
