You may want to remove those options from /etc/modprobe.d/wireless.conf (or just remove the file). disable_hw_scan=1 in particular has caused problems with that driver and it's firmware (even though it has also solved other problems in the past). Can you replicate the options if you remove those options and reload the driver (or simply reboot)? disable_hw_scan=1 can cause damage, but 11n_disable=1 and swcrypto=1 usually helps and have healthy effect as far as I can tell. After 24 hours of operation since removing the wireless.conf, I haven't observed any microcode errors. I checked the source of wireless.conf and it appeared to be installed by one of my employers packages. I will let them know this file will cause problems with current fedora and that it should be removed from the package. Sorry for the inconvience, closing the report as "worksforme". |
