syslog file

On a HP BL465c, networking wouldn't start in the anaconda loader environment (i.e. prior to stage2). In investigating this, I found that if I removed the bnx2 module and inserted it again, the network started functioning.

I noticed that ifconfig show framing errors and drops when the network was not functioning. I've attached the syslog from the loader environment.

I don't see framing errors anywhere in that log.

Comment 2 Jon Stanley 2011-02-01 07:01:41 UTC
Nope, unfortunately they were only showing up in ifconfig, which output I stupidly didn't capture. I'm not sure what more I can do here to further the investigation, if you cant think of anything, and you don't know of anything that this could be off the top, I'd just close this.....
