Description of problem:
Cannot type any command when Alt-F2 or when starting typing in Activities mode (search input is focused but no letters can be typed).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-2.91.5-3.fc15.i686

.xsession-errors shows a lot of errors (in attachment).

This sounds like the known problem with at-spi2-atk and ibus-* from around the time of the first GNOME 3 test day; workaround reported here but should no longer be necessary:
