Description Giuse 2011-01-28 16:16:05 UTC
Description of problem: Customer wants to register his Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server within the RHN running a version 3 in his machine. As he knew v. 3 was unsupported, he bought the Extended Update Support for RHEL Server; this is active in the account, but when he tries to register the system he gets an error class code 70. I checked all the channels in the RHN without finding the EUS for v.3, so he still cannot register the server. All the EUS refer to vv. 4 and 5.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results: Customer is not able to register his system as the extended update support for v.3 is not available in the channel list.

Expected results: Customer should be able to register his system in the RHN running a v.3 of RHEL software

EUS != RHEL3 Extended Lifecycle Support. Talk to Platform BU to get the customer the right subscription for extended RHEL3.
