Please provides some testing note on how QE can effectively confirm/verify this patch is applied correctly and working.

thanks,

Comment 4 Gleb Natapov 2011-02-01 09:16:56 UTC
1. Run guest with virtio boot disk.
in the guest:
2. modprobe edd
3. cat /sys/firmware/edd/int13_dev80/interface

The output should be:
SCSI            id: 0  lun: 0

If after "lun:" there is a huge random number the patch is not applied correctly.

Comment 7 Keqin Hong 2011-02-10 11:07:06 UTC
Verified according to steps mentioned in Comment 4. PASS

$ cat /sys/firmware/edd/int13_dev80/interface
SCSI            id: 0  lun: 0
