Description Radek Vokál 2011-02-03 11:37:29 UTC
Description of problem:
I've created a table in calc - 4x14 rows. Then I've tried to copy this table into Impress slide. The resulting table is greater than the slide and Impress becomes unsuable. The redrawing is slow, the table can't be squeezed or moved, the whole UI just freezes down.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
openoffice.org-impress-3.3.0-19.2.fc14.x86_64

How reproducible:
alway

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create bigger table in Calc
2. copy to impress slide (table bigger than slide)
3. observer damn slow responses

Actual results:
unusable impress

Expected results:
ability to shrink and resize the table

Additional info:
let me know if you need some

Yeah, its very sluggish. On the other hand the hack of using calc to make tables to put in impress should be redundant now with insert->table in impress.

caolanm->erack: can you have a quick look to see if this still affects LibreOffice, and if it does is it straightforward to fix ?

Comment 3 Eike Rathke 2012-01-10 17:03:20 UTC
Tried with libreoffice-3.4.4.2-6.fc16 and found no difference between a table created in Impress and one copied from Calc. Expected, as a table pasted from Calc is converted to an Impress table.

Closing.
