Description Jeff Iddings 2011-02-03 22:34:00 UTC
Description of problem:

The man page for screen references 'C-a k' as the kill window command, however the default configuration (/etc/screenrc) remaps it to 'C-a K'.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reference man page for kill command.
2. Try kill command referenced in man page (C-a k).
3.

Actual results:

Ctrl-a k does not kill window.

Expected results:

Per man page, for the current window to close.

The man page lists just default bindings compiled in the screen binary, not what is set in the configuration files. It's described in the CUSTOMIZATION section.

To show the key bindings in screen, you can use C-a ?.
