This is the programmed behavior of the installer and therefore not a bug. There are a couple of ways around this little feature however. One, you can run the installer in expert mode, which will allow you to skip specifying a swap partition. The other is that you perform the install in normal mode, but just specify a 1M swap partition which you then remove from /etc/fstab as soon as you reboot the machine. |
