Description Jerry James 2011-02-04 20:14:54 UTC
Description of problem:
I just took over maintainership of clisp, which is currently linked to readline. However, due to bug 511303, I need to link against some readline replacement. The libedit library looks good, but is lacking UTF-8 support. However, upstream version 0:35:0 adds that support. Could you build the new version for Fedora, please? If time constraints prevent you, could you make me comaintainer so I can do the work? Thank you.

Sorry, I haven't noticed the updated release yet.

Good point. I am just leaving for vacation :-) I won't be able to do the update during the next week. If you are willing to co-maintain the libedit package, just ask for the ACLs. You're welcome.

I see a new rawhide build is already out, thus closing the bug. Thanks for taking care of the issue!
