Description Davide Lima Daum 2011-02-06 11:23:55 UTC
Description of problem: Selection of packages are very slow,
near 5 secs to get the selection.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.0.1

How reproducible: Try to search on the available package "perl-" just
to have a list of perl modules, the try to install all the moose packages.
I spent near five minutes to select 60 packages by clicking it.
In the previous fedora distribution, the selection of the packages was
fast...but now is very very long process...

Additional info: My distro is Fedora 14, Kde spice.

Strange i can't reproduce that.
What kind of package information are you showing (info, changelog, update info etc) while selecting packages. Stuff like changelog and filelists can take a while to show.

Nope, only the Description, but now i tried to reproduce the problem selecting all package that contain "python-", but the selection is fast.
The pc during the problem reported, wasn't on heavy load...
Strange...
