Description Robert Cooper 2011-02-07 19:44:02 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100827 Red Hat/3.6.9-2.el6 Firefox/3.6.9

The system-config-authentication gui will not allow the administrator to configure kerberos authentication without using LDAP account management. authconfig-tui does still work correctly to allow setting up kerberos without LDAP.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start system-config-authentication
2. kerberos is not available for "local accounts only" setting.
3. kerberos becomes available when selecting "LDAP" or "NIS" options.

I'm sorry but this was decided as a scenario that does not fit the concept of the system-config-authentication GUI. It will still be supported by the command-line UI (authconfig --enablekrb5 and related options).
