Description of problem:
Running Gnome 3 rawhide test day livecd - start totem - instant kernel crash

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot gnome 3 test day livecd
2. Attempt to start totem

Actual results:
Totem starts up and goes grey with x frozen, at this time desktop locks up and kernel crashed - no ssh into machine possible

Expected results:
totem should start up and allow user to open a video file

Tested it works with lastest alpha, closing please reopen if you still have this issue with lastest version.
