Note: I don't know if this is a tomcat error or if it is correct and the problem is in ant (missing ant.jar)

Description of problem:
When running ant it can't find the file "org.apache.tools.ant.antlib.xml" in the file /usr/share/ant/lib/ant.jar (which on my system I had symlinked to /usr/share/java/catalina-ant5.jar). The path in the file is "org.apache.catalina.ant.antlib.xml"

tomcat5-5.5.27-7.4.fc12

How reproducible:

When the "org.apache.tools.ant.antlib.xml" is required by the ant build.xml file, it fails with the following message:

[antlib:org.apache.tools.ant] Could not load definitions from resource org/apache/tools/ant/antlib.xml. It could not be found.

I am not familiar with under which conditions this file is required.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a build.xml with a no-op target "dummy"
2.ant -v dummy
3.Examine output
  
Actual results:
[antlib:org.apache.tools.ant] Could not load definitions from resource org/apache/tools/ant/antlib.xml. It could not be found.

Expected results:
Successful build

My fix:
Instead of symlinking "catalina-ant5" to "/usr/share/ant/lib/ant.jar", I copied the file "catalina-ant-5.5.27.jar" to "/usr/share/ant/lib/ant.jar", opened it in file-roller as root and renamed the "catalina" name to "tools".

Sorry, but the fix wasn't as much a fix as I thought. The output is included in the file attached in the comment 1.
