The ipvsadm-1.26 was released on February 8, 2011, for handling with the new features in IPVS such as SCTP support, one-packet scheduling, and SIP persistent engine, and also fixing some bugs.

ping!

This is a major improvement necessary to use new features of kernel-2.6.37

-thanks-

The devel build is on its way. Do you think it would be useful as a F15 update in order for people to toy with it already?

Fedora 15 brings a 2.6.38 kernel, and this update is for kernels > 2.6.36.
So it's a 'must have' for f15.

-thanks-

But doesn't the current F15 ipvsadm work? The LVS page clearly states :

ipvsadm-1.26.tar.gz (for kernel 2.6.28-rc3 or later) - February 8, 2011

Maybe it's a typo (copy/paste from their last release).

Anyway, I'll work on the update but I also want to push the init script changes (#593276) and systemd file (#720175) at the same time.

ipvsadm-1.26 is needed by 2.6.37 to use all kernel features. 1.26 also works with older kernels.
