English and Punjabi two languages are there, but other than English can't be selected

Description of problem:
by selecting my language from 'Region and Language', interface still in English. T

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
control-center-2.91.6-6.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run gnome-control-center
2. select language Punjabi or Hindi or other
3. there is nothing to confirm about language whether language select or not (button like apply)?
4. Select Punjabi (other than English) and try to click on layout and back to language
5. try to run other application
  
Actual results:
after step 4, English is again select
with step 5, application run in English

Expected results:

after step 4, highlighted language should be remain selected
Applications should run in selected language

You have to log out for language changes to take effect.

To see that the change is actually stored and will be applied the next time you log in, look in

/var/lib/AccountsService/users/<your username>
