Bootindex is a device property. Device properties are not documented in help string. To see available device properties use qemu-kvm -device isa-fdc,\? or qemu-kvm -device virtio-blk-pci,\?. " ? There's no such notice in either manpage or help string. Users may find [order=drives][,once=drives] doesn't work.
