Description John Reiser 2011-02-13 01:04:48 UTC
Description of problem: Subpackage python-deltarpm forgot to specify %{_isa} in %requires deltarpm. The result is that "yum install python-deltarpm" on x86_64 can try to install deltarpm.i686 (not deltarpm.x86_64), which usually causes trouble.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
python-deltarpm-3.6-0.4.20110121git.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible: every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. "yum install python-deltarpm" when deltarpm is not installed, and the repo lags the current system.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Error: Package: python-deltarpm-3.6-0.4.20110121git.fc15.x86_64 (fedora)
           Requires: deltarpm = 3.6-0.4.20110121git.fc15
           Installed: deltarpm-3.6-0.5.20110121git.fc15.x86_64 (@anaconda-InstallationRepo-201102112219.x86_64)
               deltarpm = 3.6-0.5.20110121git.fc15
           Available: deltarpm-3.6-0.4.20110121git.fc15.x86_64 (fedora)
               deltarpm = 3.6-0.4.20110121git.fc15

Expected results: no complaint because of implicit deltarpm.i686.

Comment 1 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 15:10:51 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
