Description RedHatBugMonkey 2011-02-15 03:23:04 UTC
Description of problem:

anaconda package description is misleading

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

anaconda-13.21.82-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

How reproducible:

Description :
The anaconda package contains the program which was used to install your
system. These files are of little use on an already installed system.

Additional info:

This is clearly wrong as system-config-kickstart requires anaconda...

Comment 2 David Cantrell 2011-02-15 16:24:40 UTC
While I'll agree that we should probably change the %description, I'm not doing that in a RHEL update. We can fix it in rawhide and it'll make the next major RHEL release.

Thanks.

I've removed that sentence for rawhide, and will push just as soon as various other patches I've sent off get approved.
