Discussed at the 2011-04-01 blocker bug meeting. Need info on whether this package is actually on the DVD before accepting as a blocker.

This does not appear to included on the DVD, or pulled in by any dependencies.

Moving to blocks:679883

So we have a process fail here somewhere: 679883 blocks f15blocker (which I did) but it probably shouldn't, if we're using it to track any dep issue anywhere. This does not appear to be on the DVD media and I don't think it can be on any of the live images either, or they'd fail to compose; so this shouldn't be a release blocker. I'll probably change 679883 not to block f15blocker, sound good?

My experiment with 679883 didn't pane out since we don't block for *every* dep/conflict ... only those accessible from the media. I agree that we should update 679883 to not block the release. Any new deps coming out of F-15 RC media should be dealt with individually.

Comment 5 Adam Williamson 2011-05-10 15:23:49 UTC
or we could have a separate tracker for media blockers...

f15media_deps blocks f15deps
f15media_deps blocks f15blocker

that'd work, i think.
