http://www.openprinting.org/printer/TallyGenicom/TallyGenicom-8108N It looks like this printer needs the foo2slx driver, which includes software that cannot be shipped as part of Fedora due to patent concerns. Ah well, thanks for looking into this all the same. |
I don't know if it's reasonable to raise a bug with cups about this, but my printer does not seem to be supported. Output from check-device-ids.py: Installing relevant drivers using session service Fetching driver list └── TallyGenicom 8108N (socket): MFG:TallyGenicom;MDL:8108N;CMD:RASTER COMMAND,STATUS COMMAND,PJL; (No drivers) Device is a network connected colour laser printer. I can't seem to print using any of the Tally drivers that exist in the database.
