Thanks for the bug report - can you please follow instructions listed under 'Hardware Information' here https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_sound_problems and attach the alsa-info.txt* to this bug? -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers Created attachment 479740 [details]
/tmp/alsa-info.txt
there is my alsa-info.txt
Thank Brendan Jones for telling me how to report a Bug. I try remove and install pulseaudio* ,it's still no sound. ------------- When use previous kernel, I can't listen to music at first ,however I yum install alsa-driver and fix the problem. Then I can update the kernel, before kernel-2.6.35.11-83.fc14 ,everything is ok. But after the latest update (kernel-2.6.35.11-83.fc14),I can't listen to music. Hi - thanks for the attachment, but you ran it under the kernel that is working if I'm not mistaken? In any case, you can try the suggestions at the bottom of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_sound_problems 'Model parameter' in your case create a file /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf (as root) and add the line: options snd_hda_intel model=acer-aspire-4930g Reboot. If that doesn't work run alsa-info.sh again whilst running the kernel you are having problems with and attach here.. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers Created attachment 479756 [details]
[New] alsa-info.txt
Hi, I try create a sound.conf
Sound still doesn't work.
Here is a new alsa-info.txt
Created attachment 479757 [details]
alsa-info.txt[change Model parameter]
Here is a alsa-info.txt
!!Modprobe options (Sound related)
!!--------------------------------
snd_hda_intel: model=acer-aspire-4930g
What if you try options snd-hda-intel model=auto ? -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers Created attachment 479808 [details]
alsa-info.txt(snd-hda-intel: model=auto)
Thanks a lot!
Sound works after change.
