I agree this should be changed. It will be easier to transition if there is a code change to check for qpidd.conf at both locations. Indeed, if we're going to make a change here, I'd like to us to consider using more straightforward names. Many folks will look at "qpidc.conf" and have little idea what it is. Say: /etc/qpid/client.conf /etc/qpid/(broker|server|daemon).conf We're a little scatterbrained about whether we use broker, server, or daemon. I'd prefer we settled on one and stuck to it, in the name of fewer mapping table entries in users' minds. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 885207 *** |
