When Fedora boots, its splash screen is pretty rustic and not very friendly. Compare it to e.g. Mandriva Linux or Windows 7, and you will see the difference. A friendlier splash screen when booting the system wouldn't hurt.

The one in Fedora 17 is very nice. I hope this is the correct resolution for this bug. :)

That's fine. the one we use in f17 is actually the same we've used for a while, but it wasn't available on all hardware.
