same problem on facebook photo uploader. Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue. Are you able to reproduce this issue with firefox running in the safe mode (firefox --safe-mode)? Are you able to reproduce this with the upstream binary from http://www.mozilla.com/ (just unpack the tarball anywhere and run ./firefox)? We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance. >>Are you able to reproduce this issue with firefox running in the safe mode (firefox --safe-mode)? Yes, identical behavior. >>Are you able to reproduce this with the upstream binary from http://www.mozilla.com/ (just unpack the tarball anywhere and run ./firefox)? Don't know. I did what you instructed me to and got the identical behaviour. However, though I did download firefox 3.6.14, when I clicked help>about it shows version 3.6.13 so I am not sure that the downloaded version was really the one running. It also had my add-ons. I did start it the way you instructed inside the unpacked library. My bad. I tried to start them in parallel with my normal firefox still running. When I shut it down first, I got a different behaviour. Both your suggestions worked and did not have the problem. Glad to hear it. Closing as NOTABUG (there must some issue with some of your extensions, I guess, which we don't provide and thus not support) |
