Description David Le Sage 2011-02-24 06:52:13 UTC
Description of problem:
If the user goes to close the gnome-packagekit's "Cannot Update Operating System" dialogue box, the application crashes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 15 Live CD Nightly Build for 24/2/2011

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot the Live CD.
2. Log into GNOME Shell.
3. Go into the Overlay and click on the Operating System Upgrade icon to launch the app.
4. A dialogue box appears stating that the application cannot retrieve operating system information for the upgrade. The dialogue box has only one button, "Close."
5. Click on close.

Actual results:
gnome-packagekit crashes.

Expected results:
Should close gracefully.

Additional info:
abrt registered the crash but I could not use it to download the debug files and produce a full crash report since I was only running from the OS from the live CD.

I'm pretty sure that is fixed in gnome-packagekit-2.90.90 -- can you please update to that and retry. Thanks.
