I found a problem that when I try to turn off internal LCD display (but leave external display turned on), both displays are turned off. Using gnome-control-center.

always

1. Connect external display (through docking station).
2. Turn off internal display.
3. See external display also turned off.

Actual results:
External display is turned off.

Expected results:
External display is kept turned on.

Additional info:
Laptop is in the docking station.

This problem seems fixed with following packages:

control-center-3.0.1.1-5.fc15.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.15.0-4.fc15.x86_64

Comment 8 Kamil Páral 2011-09-07 11:54:55 UTC
This seems to work correctly in Fedora 16 Beta TC1.
