A lot has happened in kicad since version 2363, which is shipped with Fedora.
For example eeschema has been almost completely rewritten.

Please update kicad to r2758.

Rev 2765 (kicad-2011.01.28) is in the updates-testing repository for branches f15, f14, f13 and el6
