The changelog in http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=230434 seems to be false. After installing upower-devel the gnome-shell works again. (In reply to comment #1) > After installing upower-devel the gnome-shell works again. Same here (In reply to comment #1) > The changelog in http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=230434 > seems to be false. After installing upower-devel the gnome-shell works again. Do you actually have upower-0.9.8-3.fc15 installed? The bodhi update at https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/upower-0.9.8-3.fc15,dbus-1.4.6-1.fc15,gobject-introspection-0.10.3-1.fc15 appears to resolve this issue. To apply the update, be sure the 'updates-testing' repo is enabled (In reply to comment #4) > > To apply the update, be sure the 'updates-testing' repo is enabled Hint for those searching here: The update afaics hasn't been pushed yet, so it might take a few more days till it hits your update manager another workaround is to install upower-devel *** Bug 681942 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** it fails here with upower-0.9.9-1.fc16.x86_64 (supposed to be newer) Ahh, Colin didn't push the fix to devel, just F15. I've cherry-picked his fix and rebuilt upower 0.9.9-2 for f16. Thanks. |
