Most likely the puppet script needs to configure chkconfig [root@ce-qe-f14 ~]# chkconfig --list httpd httpd 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off [root@ce-qe-f14 ~]# FYI, I tried to manually start httpd to resolve the issue but then get a 503 error when attempting to load the web ui. chkconfig should be updated in aeolous-configure 2.0.0-4 This is working with the latest rpms, waiting for official beta candidate to move to verified [root@ce-qe-f14 ~]# rpm -qa | grep aeolus aeolus-configure-2.0.0-4.fc1420110315152531gitf715bd6.noarch aeolus-conductor-0.0.3-0.fc1420110315192501git06dab6c.x86_64 aeolus-conductor-daemons-0.0.3-0.fc1420110315192501git06dab6c.x86_64 aeolus-conductor-doc-0.0.3-0.fc1420110315192501git06dab6c.x86_64 You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root [root@ce-qe-f14 ~]# Looks great on the 2011-04-15 AMI (ami-18fa0671). Rebooted the conductor instance and the web ui was accessible immediately after it started back up.
