Description of problem:

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual results:

Expected results: After I got updates on Fedora 14 my hard drive in my Sony V505BL laptop has not been read correctly. It is a 250GB hard drive but fedora 14 views it as 1689TB hard drive and says the disk may have bad sectors. The hard drive works fine when I hook it up by USB connection so it has to be something internal with the software and the laptop.

Do all F14 kernels show that issue? Are there any SMART errors in your system logs? Is there anything relevant in dmesg?

This sounds like it may be a hardware problem between the chipset and the drive (ie, a cable if present, or the connector if it's a directly plugged drive).
