I can confirm this. With latest updates, gdm loops again (RV770 / AMD Radeon HD 4850 1GB). See also https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=680605

Updating to accountsservice-0.6.4-3.fc15.x86_64 fixed the issue by me.

Comment 4 Nick Lee 2011-03-02 07:53:20 UTC
Updating to accountsservice-0.6.4-3.fc15.x86_64 NOT fixed the issue by me.

gdm login window is flickering and after screensaver password window is flickering too.

This happens on my computer when using external display, if I open the laptop lid then close it, screen output is ok (Lenovo X200)

Comment 6 Matthias Clasen 2011-04-07 03:08:16 UTC
Is this still an issue for anybody in this bug ?

Comment 7 Pablo Iranzo Gómez 2011-04-07 05:48:11 UTC
Matthias, for me the whole screen shows random colors flickering, not just the login window, ¿probably related with intel Xorg driver? (and only on initial startup, opening the lid and closing it, fixes the output)
