Description Larry Vaden 2011-03-02 03:00:14 UTC
Description of problem:

The current installer does not have a media check option.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Always, but hopefully not forever :)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot
2. notice absence of "check media" option
3.

Actual results:

"check media" is not an option.

Expected results:

Check media is expected because, in cases where the .iso was checked after download and again as part of the burning process, if an error occurs during installation, it is not known whether that media could be read without error on the target machine.

Comment 1 Larry Vaden 2011-03-02 03:05:27 UTC
This should reduce the number of bugs reported against the installation process by making it clear to the user the target machine can|can not read the installation media.
