In v7 1.2, core test reported PASS when no /var/log/messages found. This issue has been fixed in v7 1.3, now core test fails correctly when messages log is missing.

The error means that v7/core was unable to determine the clock source. The test does not fail regardless of the clocksource - it's currently implemented for information only. v7/core should probably be changed to "Note:" or "Warning:" rather than "Error:" Hi Greg, Thanks for your response,i am going to mark the related core tests as passed in the testplan,thanks.
