Option "live_ram" is supposed to do exactly what you are asking for. I just confirmed that live_ram works for the Fedora 14 live cd's when manually added to the boot options. In that case, could you add a menu option to the livecd boot loader for "live_ram"? I think having an explicit menu option would 1) raise awareness of it, and 2) make it more user friendly for those who may be scared to edit boot/command-line options. I'm withdrawing this request. |
