That should be “3.02 has been released” and it is at https://github.com/aaronsw/html2text/tarball/3.02

Unless this package is upgraded in two weeks, I’ll do it myself.

Comment 2 Matěj Cepl 2011-04-03 12:58:58 UTC
This seems hopeful:

bradford:~# repoquery -q --tree-whatrequires python-html2text
python-html2text-2.38-3.1.noarch [cmd line]
 \_ rss2email-2.70-2.fc15.noarch [1: python-html2text = 2.38-3.1]
bradford:~#

This package is orphaned, so you should step in to have it upgraded.

Comment 4 Michael Schwendt 2011-04-04 08:53:01 UTC
Patrice, it is not orphaned. You are listed as co-maintainer even:

Comment 5 Thorsten Leemhuis 2011-04-04 09:02:46 UTC
I'll try to handle the update this week; but if anyone wants to take it over just let me know.

Sorry for the trouble.

Comment 6 Patrice Dumas 2011-04-04 09:09:31 UTC
Whoops, I had a look at html2text... Sorry for the confusion.

Also I am a mostly inactive co-maintainer (except for the occasional whining about stability...).

Comment 7 Michael Schwendt 2011-04-04 10:19:31 UTC

How is that supposed to work?

git log tells you've not done a single commit since this package has been set up in 2007. Perhaps you should give up the "commit" access in pkgdb if you don't want to touch the package. Or even give up "watchbugzilla" if there's not even a useful reply in bugzilla.

koji tells you've not submitted any build at all since December 2008.

I orphaned all my packages in Fedora. I still watch the packages in bugzilla, I have a look at commit messages and I send mails to maintainers when I find the diff incorrect.

I am provenpackager, so it wouldn't really make a difference. I could ask to be removed from the provenpackagers group, though.

I try to be useful in some bug reports. Recently I wrote some comments on a cernlib bug report, fetchmail and rss2email.

Indeed. Not completly my fault, though. I tried to propose help to improve koji to be installable more easily (add prefix, destdir and things like that) such that I can still use it from my debian, but nobody seems to care. I also tried more recently to have a look at fedpkg, but since it depends on koji I gave up.

Yep. But I am still in EPEL.

Anyway I don't think this is the place to discuss my involvement in Fedora or EPEL.
