Description Gerald Henriksen 2002-07-08 16:49:01 UTC
Description of Problem:
When starting up gnome-cd to play an audio cd an error dialog box pops up saying
"An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for
CDDBSlave2. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly."

Clicking on details shows :

Type mismatch:
 Expected `int' got `string' for key /apps/CDDB-Slave2/info

This is the first time running the new gnome cd player app.

Have you ever run gnome2 with this home directory before installing limbo?

Comment 2 Gerald Henriksen 2002-07-27 01:01:23 UTC
yes (i had forgotten that). it works fine on a new account so I just removed
the hidden stuff from my account.

thanks.

This is an old gnome-cd bug that was fixed. I don't think there's too much to be
done about it if you ran the old gnome-cd and it stored bad config data, other
than unset that key (gconftool-2 --unset /apps/CDDB-Slave2/info)
