Description Anica 2011-03-07 20:20:57 UTC
Description of problem:
Please add a way to access recently used documents from the GNOME Shell. GNOME 2 had this functionality under the Places menu. Could you add an extra tab next to "Applications" in the Activies Overview mode for this? It would be extremely handy for users to be able to pick again from documents they have recently been working on without having to open applications first.

Not going to be part of GNOME 3.0 obviously but might make it into the 3.2 release
